Has it ever been mentioned how crazy it was with Vinnie having two totally different looks with different wigs on this tape?

WTF? Whose idea was that? Talk about no continuity.

I MUCH prefer the first one and would hope his real hair could look like that.

With the different wigs it totally changes his face don't you think.

He's like the Man of 1000 faces Gene sang about. So many different looks depending on the wig he was using.

What's funny is that he looks like he's tripped out when the 2nd half of the vid starts BUT he is much better at explaining things in the 2nd half.

I met a guy who said V was bald/had a shaved head, as early
as 1991 (sales guy at "GuitarsR´us" Hollywood). Nothing
wrong with that, he was just alittle suprised, especially then since
it was the era of Big Big hair in Hollywood back then....

Personally, I don't care about if he does or doesn't wear a wig.

Wigs is part of the 'show'biz aspect of it all.

he does look really pissed off in part 2 .. and his playing is fucking mental .. maybe he was a lil hammered at the time .. maybe VVI had just split .. maybe he was just pissed off .. but man some of those licks are insane .. the jamming is part genious .. part shite in my humble opinion

i think that video is before the split but i have no doubt he would be pissed off with someone.

Maybe his other wig wasn't back from the cleaning service and he was pissed he had to change his look mid video shoot.....could be any number of things I suppose...

I think it's gotta be said, that this video is, like, totally wigged out man.....

I always thought that he was high during that second part of the video. When I met him, his eyes and demeanor were the same as that second part .
It kind of freaked me out but was also cool to a 16 year old.

The sideways look with the eyes bugging out always gets me.

what about the look on his face when he shows hw to achieve speed though the chormatic exercise?
Nt to mention the face he pulls at the end of the section, just before the slow motion segment, when he pulls the bar and wave the head a bit and olooks into the camera...yuk!

He has some shit stuck in the wig in the second half, like he's leaned too far into the sink when he was howking the dish crap out the drain.

Howking is a Scottish term, by the way. As is by the way if you come from Glasgow.

i know this stuff is funny in a some sort of way, but personally I think its cooler to lay off wig talk. It gets my goat.

I dion't belittle him for wearing a wig. I do however encourage him to come back without one. I don't care if he is thinning or chubby. JUST PLAY !!!

i am being serious. i think this kind of talk is a little too much and kind of lowers the bar. I do also think as much as there is a lot of crap that has happened, making light of peoples fashion choices or posting pictures of people who have not asked to be included is too far. I'm not pissed but I do think its not cool to cross the line and maybe it should be ended. Not sure how genebaby stands on this.

Nah, I'm from the Borders, almost in England but not quite. We take salt and sauce on our chips, whereas Glasgow only has salt and vinegar. Their chippies don't even have sauce on the premises!

I've got nothing against people choosing to wear wigs, we know it happens a lot in rock n roll as image is a big thing.

As the starter of this thread I thought we'd discuss the rather strange choice to completely change your look during the filming of a fairly short instructional video.

I've never seen anybody else do that.

its fantastic to know that Vinnie takes very good care of his belongings all over the years, as a certified VV expert i can assure you that the "current" 2004 wig is the exact same he wore on the conventions and i first saw him wearing around 1992 in the Revenge Sessions.
You can tell here its the exact same wig ! same fringe !

that he has taken very very good care of his favorite wig for
over 12 years !!! thats a lot !!! i added a picture of the early 90's or maybe even late 80's where he appears with no wig.

its strange, how long can it take from when he said in april or may that its moments away. either they want to wait for all guitars to be finished, or they want to slow it down while they figure out how they will market them and how they will physically sell them, or something went wrong and its all off. The catalog will be in the same style as the teaser i am sure. originally it would not have prices and then a 3rd ad would follow with full ordering details and prices. they need a website i would believe. chances are they maybe working on a site, again it will most likely follow the look of the teaser as i would believe tom would be doing it all himself.

dino 4 guitars , if proper templates were made 40-60 hours each ...lets be real april to oct gee thats 7 months those guitars should have been done.

he also said in may that he had been working night and day on 4 vv guitars for some time. they are done, i bet. but is vv done or not.. we will find out. v is reading everything here, we know that for sure. i think tom who remember was a member and poster on pyro and the dv board f.or quite some time must look here often

i have waited too long and now its the time, i have 50% in advance to pay , but there is no damn contact info or a number or nothing , i dont know what to think of the trailer, if he is not gonna release the guitars please cancel that account and we'll forget about it for good.

In the meantime- buy a TJ Monster VVV guitar. You will have your guitar WAY BEFORE Christmmas and have plenty of money left tho buy an AZG guitar when Vinnie releases it.

sammy will only buy the official, believe me. if vv wont let him buy it he will have someone else buy it for him.

Then Sammy will have to wait.

He deleted all of us from the DoubleV forum ,gives fans no way to enter that forum, and doesn't like it that this forum exists. You are here and considered a traitor by Vinnie. You can send him an e-mail that will go unanswered. He seems not to care how long we have been fans.

Things don't t need to make sense to anyone but Vinnie in Vinnie's world.
