I recently checked out Geoff Tate's Queensryche here in Nashville. It's too bad that not a lot of others did. Full review and photos here:

It's sad when bands fragment like this.

I loved operation mindcrime. I actually never bought empire. I would have gone out of interest. Did vv show up to see rudy?

Wow, Tate has really fucked himself over with all his bullshit. Let's see how many band members this guy goes thru in the next year.

My friends band opened up for queensryche on a one off gig and tate was a jerk to them. Told them not to talk to him and they could not have a sound check.

They also opened up for cinderella weeks later and it was a total different story. Full sound check.. Cinderella thanked them to the audience during cinderellas set .. told audience to buy there cd and tom wore there shirt as well as the band hanging out after show. But nothing like that with queensryche in particular tate. Tate actually told my friend he hates heavy metal and heavy metal fans and bands.

Then Tate is a loser.

i have a newfound respect for cinderella. always liked them but this is damn cool.


i've heard peter frampton after all he's been thru will tell opening acts to jack up their prices for merch and he'll lower his price to make them look bad

You've just reminded me, I saw a video of Tate spitting on another band member onstage, I think it was the drummer.

I think I posted it here at the time. Shocking behavior.

Wow. I had no idea about the knife incident, and probably don't recall the spitting. That's not cool. Not that I agreed with mouthing people off. Sometimes everyone's a little bit of a douche bag. He seems to be suffering from some deeper issues, though, if he has to resort to violence.

He is still a great singer.

I wish him recovery from his problems, whatever they may be.

I saw them in 2008, glad I did but I wish I had during their glory days and when Chris was still there.

i thought Queensryche were a very good band.

They were, they were. Like a lot of bands, the suck started to creep in.

I saw them open for Metallica on the IJFA tour. I saw them headline on the Empire tour where they did the entire Operation Mindcrime album. THAT was the peak !!!!
