Yes, I turn 48 tomorrow and Momma bought me 2 reasonable strat variations for the ocassion. Pretty Nice!

Doesn't come out in the picture well but the guitar is orange with green metal flakes. It needs a fret job and to refinish the fret board but plays pretty nice even with the action a little higher than normal for me.

Funny thing Fred about this one, as you know we have discussed many times how I hate synchronized tremolo's. For now somehow this one is more stable than most. It actually pretty much holds tune as long as I don't spazz on it. I was quite surprised by this fact as I only have a couple of others that are sort of stable like this. So experience tells me eventually it will become unstable like most of them and I will either bolt it down or replace it with something like a Trem King. I have one Trem King but it still unfortunately requires routing the body which I hated because I was not blessed with the steady hands at routing that Tony has when he routes those flashersFREDDYB3 wrote:Cool, so will the "eyeball" Strat be receiving a Floyd make over ?
If you are going to use a router you might as well put a Floyd on but I have so many I would rather wait and find some different Strat replacement bridge that requires no routing as it already has Sperzel Locking Tuners. I don't really like locking nuts either but most of my guitars hold tune really well with this device. I have so much work going on right now without money being as great as I would like that some of my projects are on hold because I don't have the time to be attentive to them.Re: Uncle Kev!
