I see the one in the picture is actually a left hand version and the guy drilled a hole to put the bar in to use as a righty! He REALLY wanted one!
It would be cool if they did make these again, as the fine tuners get in the way of my hand.

Rx is the nut size and string spacing. R2 is my fave, then R3. R5 is way too spaced for me.
I'll stick with sweet fine tuners, I love them.

Guthrie Govan will probably buy them all as he's using them now on his new Charvel!
He might look like Catweasel but he's a freaking genius!

George lynch has them on offer with his guitar line. Floyd rose told me they are out of production though.

Agreed!
In the 80's I had a Matsumoku Aria Super Strat that had what they called an Act 2 Tremelo that was patterned after this. The tremolo floated and once you got the tension balanced to zero degrees it was ok. It was more stable and had greater range than a synchronized tremolo but it was not in the same zip code with a balanced fine tuning Floyd Rose with a locking nut. If I had this guitar again I would put locking tuners on it and it would be a notch better but for now the Floyd Rose with fine tuners and locking nut seems to be the best and most stable tremolo bridge that I have tried so far.
With that said locking nuts are a pain in the ass!

Brad gillis uses them because he pulls on area where fine tuners should be.
