Hi guys, new here.

I have just started reading all the crazy stuff that's gone on with the world of the wiz and I cannot believe or understand what I'm reading. Then again gene and Paul have been saying it all along.

Can someone please give me a rundown of all the crazy events with Vinnie in the last few years. I honestly thought the guy has done absolutely nothing since 1996 then I read his been raising hell on the net!

He came back via my old forum in 2009. Before that he was active on aol instant messenger. Also very possible he was Andrea nix on pyro board and god knows what other aliases. I helped vv start his youtube account and launched the first guitarmageddon guitars trailer on my forum with vv.

Hi doublev, I have been reading your stuff. Really interesting. Has anyone she the man face to face? Does he even play the guitar anymore? What does he do day to day?

Fair enough, so why do you all still talk about him? Seems the best way for VV to do anything is ignore him...then again he might just not play music anymore....but after spending a bit of time reading historical posts he has a lot to answer to

I talk vv because I am a fan of music. A lot of us have been hoping for new music for years. Any new music if its for rsal would have us all on edge of our seat. But its hard to believe anymore.

Quite honestly, It's a conglomeration of the music, image, and how cool he was when I met him.
Everything about the guy inspired a young Poserboy to develop some of my confidence and swagger .
With Vinnie, I got my music how I wanted it, over the top and melodic.

The image of the debut was a huge "FUCK YOU" to everyone. It harkened back to the early days of Rock-N-Roll. Little Richard comes to mind. Wearing pink yet having the rudest guitar tone and superior technique of anyone was an incredible paradox and it set unattainable standards that can only be met by Vinnie himself, YET, He chooses to remain silent .
There truly is only one guy that can get away with it.

The man that helped shape a small corner of my being seems to struggle with demons that go against all of the messages that I took from his music.
Was it all just bullshit ?
Was I lied to all of these years ?
Did I lie to myself ?

ASG is like fine food with Saran Wrap covering it. It's like fucking while wearing a condom. Enjoyable BUT...
At least I have the debut album and the promise of the releasing hard to find gems that have the fire and intensity of the debut.

For better or worse, Vinnie knows us . It just sucks that he doesn't GET us.

Why do we still talk about him ?
You don't choose who and what you love, YOU JUST DO !!!!

Just like rick as a teen and even younger my life was vv. I stopped llistening when I was 16 to my mid 20s and only came back after hearing gfh demos and then reading the jaw dropping stories back in 1999.

The effort some of us went through to get vv back was ridiculous and higely time consuming but it worked. Us at vvforums (via my old board) were successful in posching him out after about 12 years.

Because of the musical enigma that Vinnie is there will always be people interested in talking about him, on any level, so there has been for a long time a place on the web to do so.

With Vinnie, you either get his music/image, or you don't. It's a shame more Kiss fans don't give it a chance. If they did they would realise what a talent Vinnie was.
