A lot of Super 8 seems to be bits and pieces. I'm not sure it had the capacity for a whole show.

Did they film this off a screen?

i dont think super 8 was full screen. not sure as i wasnt born yet.

its just funny ozzy and kiss were on tours at the same time and not alot of footage exists from that time period.

just like when i saw kiss in 2004....that was my creatures era. people didnt wanna see em, etc etc.....and weirdly enough the tour i went to doesnt have alot of footage except for the dvd which they lied about "putting alot of shows on one dvd"

yea...didnt happen

Super 8 only lasted 3 mins per rol. You need a few cameras to film a whole show . Once one camera runs out another needs to kick in while the other is re loaded. All old super 8 is 4x3 tv frame but these days you can use it wide screen.

I have this footage on a DVD along with 8MM footage from the Detroit '83 "Creatures Of The Night" tour show, both bonus on the Montreal '83 DVD. Both snippets are silent, and audio recordings exist for both shows, so it would be cool to see it synced to the footage. It seems impossible to do but there are some amazing 8MM syncs out there.

My brother knows a guy who is amazing at syncing and fixing up videos. I've been meaning to get in touch with him about a show I filmed that I now have better sound for.

I think I would go crazy trying to figure out which parts of the show the 8MM footage is from, Lol.

Gotta admit, that's the first time I've heard Vinnie play on Shout It Out Loud... think he's even doing background vox!

For some reason I just realized this clip has audio...for some reason I thought it didn't, maybe I had my internet explorer muted. Anyways, nice sync! I could probably do this with the full DVD now that I can see which clips are what songs.
