The idea behind the joke is sorta like this:
Guy getting married has a problem picking an appropriate song
for his wedding and only comes up with the "wrong" type of songs
like Foreigner (I wanna know what..) etc etc, Lick it up probably
being the least suiting tune for a serious occation like this...
His friends actually give in finally and he does get what he wants,
albeit , as a Gospel.
Vinnie V is credited in the end credits so hope
he gets some royaltys from it? (I hope..)

is the the same actor that you might have seen in "Brüno" as Brünos
Austrian "Lover". Yes, he spoke German in that movie, but he is Swedish.
