hi.

i was wondering if anyone can help me. I saw Mick Mars with a unfinished tele. I think birds eye maple body. It wasn't kramer or fender and i was trying to make out the logo but couldn't . i think it started with an 's' but not sure. anyone know what it is?

You must post a picture. What year ? Album/tour ?

Without seeing a photo,I'm going to go out on a limb and say Ferrington as in Kramer/Ferrington. Dr.Feelgood era. I remember those logos looking like a funky "S" for some reason.
Spectre was also a popular choice at the time. The guys from Skid Row had some cool custom guitars that their guitar tech(who worked at Spectre) put together from parts for them.

Tracy Grijalva "Tracy G" formerly of WW3, Dio and Epic plays some guitars made by a local luthier in Southern California named Karl Sandoval. Perhaps Mick Mars had Karl make a Telecaster for him?

i would say that the name fits. my wife tells me i am the worst for getting the wrong end of the stick, but that sounds close. not a kramer of fender for sure.
