Saxon's album from the last year "Sacrifice" was such an awesome metal album.
Saxon is one of the few bands who can claim that they are not just going through the motions to make a living.
Although they are old, they really push their limit in terms of heaviness and attitude-filled great metal tunes.
I think I like Saxon even more now than in 80's.
Even bands like Iron Maiden has completely lost its edge and making a boring and super safe album over and over again.
Out of all the NWOBHM bands, only Angel Witch and Saxon are making great new music.

I must admit, I've never ever listened to them.
Just cranking Sacrifice on youtube, sounds pretty good !
Thanks for the recommendation

I saw Saxon in December 1980 on their 'Strong Arm of the Law' tour on a Friday night and skipped work.
Saturday morning, I was sacked.
Was it worth it?
Hell, yes!
