let's admit it....gene and paul treated him like shit...but theres two sides to a story. if they both come to an agreement on royalties, they could still work together in the future.

i think him suing so much stems from how stingy they were in the 80's money wise and wanting him to sign a deal but he never did. so in effect he was kinda of hog tied either way royalty wise which sucks.

He falls back on suing Kiss cause he fucked up the VV Invasion. Don't forget, the guy "won the lottery" twice... that's two times more than 99% of humans.

Vv said in 1987 and 96 that he loved being in kiss. In 87 he appogized to kiss for his child like behaviour in an interview. Kiss didn't treat him like shit. They let him have 8 tunes on liu and gave him lots of cash to tour. He was making nothing sleeping on couches before kiss. No way was he treated like shit. 99% of guitar players would have accepted those terms

Yes, he wasn't treated like shit, he got the deal a new guy was going to get. Eric accepted his, not sure about Mark but Bruce got by just fine.

Kiss weren't rolling in money back then. Vinnie had the wrong attitude and could not see what the future could be if he stayed.

Vinnie wanted to walk in the door as an equal member... that's just silly. The guy got full writing credit, a killer makeup design, a spiffy new wig for LIU cover, toured the world, a solo deal after Kiss, a newly designed guitar just for him... I can go on and on.

No he never opened for Kiss... no way would Paul allow that. But that would've been cool (Slaughter ended up getting that gig).

Slaughters first ever live gig was opening for kiss. They even introduced burning bridges as a song about former band mate but 99% of slaughter fans in 1990 wouldn't have known anything about them ever playing with vv and I bet about on 5% of kiss fans knew anything about vvi. Reason how I know. I was there and I went to hot in shade tour 3 times with vvi shirt and talked to many people about vv and slaughter and most people didn't even know vv was ever a member of kiss or never heard of vvi. Remember no Internet and unless you dug for info very little info around outside of some European magazines.
