Funny that you mention this Dannii. I just had correspondence with the one and only Mike Varney and this is what he had to say:
HI Vinnie is a talent but we went almost worked together in the 80s and had a lot of conversations. I was left feeling that we likely ultimately would not get along that well. I do think he is talented and appreciate you kind letter. All the best, MIke
