I know he had been in Smyrna, TN, for years. But I've heard that he moved out of his home shortly after Diane's passing in January. Is he back there or has he left greater Nashville area?

This sounds suspect.He has always been easy to find, even when one is not looking. I get calls from a lot of people telling me things that I do not seek out or really even care to know.
I will tell you that a few of us have been to his house as a sort of Graceland visit. No one knocked on his door, sat in vigil, or played acoustic guitars (Remember Kumbaya ????).
No lines of decency were crossed by most of us. There have been photos taken of his beautiful fence.

People are curious how their favorite artists live. We also worry about Vinnie.
Creepy if you are the artist, but also understood since he is such a mystery and well loved by us here.Vinnie even called Chet Atkins one day and was invited to his house to jam. Vinnie told me that story. Did Vinnie cross the line of fandom there ?

Vinnie has no need to worry about his safety as far as the core people here. In fact, A lot of us would protect the the lil' guy.
If Vinnie needs a hand of any kind, he can always count on the core Elder here.
That would take some humility and humbleness on his part. We here at the VVFF continue to exercise those two things.

Sorry who told you he moved? He always says he moved but he doesn't.

I just wish he would stop faking people. I know he doesn't want to talk to people as vinnie vincent but jeez way too far. It shows just how alone he is in all this.
