I skimmed through Paul's book yesterday.

Paul said that Vinnie did IN FACT wear a wig for the LIU album cover.WE WERE CORRECT.
Of course , Kiss then had MSJ wear the VERY SAME WIG for the Animalize photo session.

Already about half way thru the book... haven't reached the LIU years but did skim thru where he describes Vinnie's audition as goofy.

Kiss must've forced Mark to wear the same wig that Vinnie probably chose to wear.

What does exactly say?

The question is WHY did they make him wear a wig? He had a full head of hair! As did Mark!!!

All the parts of the book I have seen really make Stanley sound very pedestal sitting and petty. Calling Ace antisemitic is odd I guess he forgot the pics of him in the red nazi suit giving the sieg heil.

So they wanted to make his hair to look like Ace
maybe they still wanted Ace around 84

I'm with you Pinkwiz "Gerber baby's"(?) i don't get it. Maybe the Baby face and his...maybe messy, like a child??? or not poodle like enough for Paul's liking

he meant baby hair, really thin

My belief is the wig was owned by the stylist and they used same stylist for animalize

All records starting with liu onwards that vv played on he had a wig on album photographs.
The gerber thing must have rubbed off on him.

There were stories of him actually being comfortable with it off or adjusting it in front of a tribute band.

i heard from the vvi guys that he was not bald and the Dean Markley ad i am sure is his real hair and not bald at all. but i don't know after the GFH days.
