It goes to show if v hadn't have sued over and over he could have picked up some of the kiss crumbs. 1987 to 1996 he loves gene and Paul, being in kiss best time of his life so thankful and would be there for paul and gene whenever they needed him etc.

1996 to now Paul and gene stole his money and are evil.

Yeah the whole "I'll be there for KISS when they need me" stuff was Vinnie convincing himself that Ace wouldn't last long after the reunion and Gene and Paul would bring him back as the Ankh Warrior/Wizard. When that didn't happen, it was back to suing...

... prolly for the best though. Can you imagine Peter and Vinnie in the same band?

I could imagine Peter and vinnie being best friends for 5 minutes and worst enemies after that.

Yer, but everyone else, even the slack jawed Ace, got a (antecedent of the pronoun) descriptive introduction. Even if some where just 'the great, Bruce Kulick, the great, Eric Singer). Vinnie got no such introduction.
It's seems to just be a situation where Gene had to say his name, Vinnie Vincent & that was that.

KISS definitely is an example where the sum of a each individual doesn't equal the whole part.
In recent times, Gene & Paul's solo albums are proof of that. No KISS member does as good when they are on their own.
I suppose then, VV sort of did OK as a Solo artist.

I still believe that VV did help KISS regain momentum in the mid/early 80's. For that he should have got a little more of a mention.

I agree, it was nice that Gene at least acknowledged Vinnie. I love Ace even more now that he's finally gotten his shit together. He was so nice and funny, and even thanked Jeanette, did you guys catch that? I never knew they finally divorced. Anyway, it was decent of Gene; it's the least he could have done. Vinnie wrote some great songs.

Doubtful due to Paul's insecurities ,but, I could actually see Gene being somewhat classy and sending Vinnie a small gesture of congratulations in the mail.

He could have made contact, mended some fences, but as usual he stayed home and ordered in.

Yeah, no way would Paul's insecurities allow Vinnie at the hall uh shame... hell, he probably didn't even want Peter and Ace there. Can't say I blame him concerning VV though.

After reading Paul's book, I came away just thinking he was a huge goober. It seems he scared all of his former girlfriends away by being too eager... but he can't see that. He likes to believe he takes the high road but takes potshots at almost every Kiss guy all the thru his book. I couldn't even finish the end of his book... just waaaay too "Tony Robbins" for my taste.

Considering he is the oldest and has not had any "work" done ,at least it does not look like it, Peter looks really good .. especially toss on cancer treatments.
