Damn, How I would love to hear those live DAT tapes that Vinnie supposedly has from his time in Kiss. I bet he has all the VVI stuff as well.

DAT´s were hot from like 94-2000, if I remember correctly...

I was using DAT earlier than '94 if I remember. I think maybe even '91 I recorded sound for a student film with one.

I don't think VV would have DATs of Kiss stuff. I think Gene tried to buy those tapes from the engineer from that tour. Most likely to never put them out because Gene will never want to put anything out with V playing live on it.

I'm used to saying DAT's. Let's say RECORDINGS FROM THE BOARD.

I don't know much about the DAT tapes, but does anyone know if that bootleg from '84 when he was in Kiss is actually authentic where it's supposedly him playing on an early version of Heaven's On Fire?

Just a note on DAT's .....my last recording band ( Sir Galahad ) was recording on 24 track Analog then mixing to DAT's in the mid 90's . Not positive of the year but definitely between 1991 and 1995 .
So they were around.
