Yeah man, the holidays are coming!

I have three more weekends of work stuff coming up and then I'm off for a month! Can't wait, though I will miss the OT pay packets.

It's gonna be another hot Christmas in Australia!

Will there be anything Vinnie related to put under the tree this year? Maybe next year?

What kind of holidays do you have? Down under is summer, right? Ok then you have summer holidays. Really cool. By us it's snowing and it's fuckin' cold... We have one week holiday between christmas and new year.
But I will go snowboarding and skiing...
Have great holidays down under....

Yeah, we have hot times over Christmas down here, it's getting warmer each day now.

My holidays are whenever I choose to take them. We've been busy at work since June and I'm taking my time off when we are in a shutdown period anyhow and then it will be busy again for a bit when I get back next year.

So it works out great and mid December is my 10th wedding anniversary so we're going on a family holiday.

For the QLD guys, I'll be at the Gold Coast for a few days, not sure if that's any good for a catch up?

One thing I know, it's going to be HOT up there.

my mother lived on the QLD/NSW border for 3 or 4 years. Pretty damn great place apart from the brown snakes and the killer spiders sitting inside the cars.

Ooh, which town? I've been to Morree and Walgett, it was HOT when I was there.

We have lots of dangerous spiders and snakes here though I've rarely come into contact.

Funny thing, a guy at work was bitten on the ankle by a snake on the weekend! He didn't really notice as he was helping a friend clear some land, because of the risk of snakes and fire, lol.

He felt worse the next day and noticed the bite marks.

This is something I was doing myself at the back of my yard where I let it get a bit crazy with all the recent rain, after a lot of drought. I cleared it with my new brush cutter and then mowed it down. Lucky for me no snakes, or I scared them off ok.

she had a house in Kingscliff NSW and before that she lived in a small town called Cabarita Beach and also somewhere very close to Surfers Paradise, but mainly Kingscliff which is a great little town.
