Dana Strum influence as vvi producer

Dana kind of proved himself as a producer with slaughter.
Makes me wonder the influence on the vvi records that Dana had/gave from his production.
It's easy to say vv could have produced on his own and I think he could have.
He didn't even produce the euphoria ep on his own (and that was a mess I guess mainly due to low budget and not fully finished).
I just wonder if Dana had more to do with the vvi sound than people think.

I think dana and Vinnie were the minds of VVI, you can see dana influenced many productions in slaughter ,as well as in the VVI, also think he has a good knowledge of music theory.

Yes. I always had a theory Dana owned part of vvi. Could be wrong but he was behind the capital records re issues and I don't see how he would be without some sort of ownereship. I guess also vv producing on own would result in decades of tinkering

Dana surely helped the Invasion sound, probably even more on ASG.

Yes. I wonder how it would have been without him. Maybe better maybe worse.

The drum sound on both records sounds artificial to me. That would be my only complaint apart from some of the solos should have been the old pre kiss vv not shred vv

It's very clear the opening of up all night shares stylistic similarities to the opening of ashes to Ashes and some of the Queen like backing vocals are very vvi. I wonder if Dana brought that to vvi? Quite clear that gfh has non of that.

Bobby suggested blas for slaughter as he was his teacher
Bobby joined nelson before slaughter got recording. I guess if nelson hadn't of worked out he may have joined slaughter. Who knows but he didn't join with either.

I always wondered what it would have been if Goran edman had participated in the ASG ,I like the voice of Goran edman ,but I think No one could have assumed the best vocals on the first album that robert, I have all the demos of Goran edman on the first album, the one that is REALLY very good is boyz are gonna rock
