The original image was actually The Celestial from the KISS Psycho Circus comic that McFarlane put out years ago. Together with the comic art, I took some concert pics of VV in makeup to my tattoo artist and this is what he came up with

I was disappointed with the Year Of The Fox story in the KISS comics. I think it was pretty clear by that point that the Psycho Circus comics weren't working out. I think the Fox story should've been bigger and have him become a recurring supporting character.
