I really don't know of anyone with a belly that has expanded that has had their voice expand.

Yes, apparently MAB said in an interview that cause of Gillette's voice 'evolution', Nitro was heading down the dethmetal vibe.
As you said Kev, MAB is always terrific. And Chris 'the Kid' Adler is a pretty insane drummer.
