Mile Weeks boots us on FB. Changes his name to Lee Rosenberger with an image of Scarlatti.
The drummer erases his post about rehearsal.
Vinnie is quiet.
There is more but what's the fucking point ?

Vin doesn't have to live up to the past.
A lot of us would be thrilled with an intimate evening where he strums a bit on an acoustic and plays s few riffs on an electric.
No pressure...just people rooting for him and enjoying a conversation aided by instrumentation.

I'm glad people are getting refunds even though I was boned out of mine for the last two cancelled shows and also boned in Atlanta .
Oh fucking well.
I hope Vinnie starts the redemption with working on the boxset.
Uncle Kev is waiting patiently first in line.

I just want VV to understand that people would be happy to see him no matter what.
Idc if he shreds or not; if he simply strums an acoustic, I'd be more than happy. He needs to do what he wants to do deep down; don't keep attempting to live up to others expectations. Do what makes YOU happy.
If simply meeting the fans and chatting is what he wants to do, that's fine by me.
The fans just want to see him and be in his presence. I'd still love to see him in MI in July if he chooses to do so...even if it's just a M/G.
Obviously idk why things are happening the way they are right now but as always, I will continue to hope the best for him.

I'm sure most of us just want to hear Vinnie play something. Anything. Whatever makes him happy, as said above.
Nobody cares what we get, as long as we get something. The first idea at Graceland was great. An evening of Vinnie and his guitar. That was perfect.
At each stage the bar goes higher, but for what reason?
Ease into it Vinnie. Just book a reasonably priced show with you and your guitar. The people will come.

True vv doesn't have to even be good anymore. It's about doing it. But cancelling is sick. I think vv likes all the drama

Word on the street is some people actually SAW him rehearse at this venue and said it was really bad. He canât play anymore apparently. That, and he only sold 6 tickets. $300 bucks? Thatâs crazy. I bet the venue cost more than $1800 to rent out.
âAnyone who says Iâm canceling is a fucking moron!â - Vinnie on Mitch Lafong 2 weeks ago.
Just be honest with everyone Vinnie. Youâll feel better.

I honestly wish he would have just came back, did the thing in Atlanta, then went away again. Atlanta was actually great, no real big issues other than Derek making it a massive clusterfuck, but Vinnie was cool with everyone, played a little with Robert, didn't trash former band members, etc. He should have just left it at that. Everything that's happened afterward has tainted that brief period of time where everything was positive. Now the entire "comeback" is just a big pile of crap. So much BS has went on that it's totally overshadowed the few positives
How are we as fans supposed to defend him anymore?

Just don't feel obligated to defend him.
Enjoy the aspects of him made you a fan in the first place.
That is all any of us can do.
Atlanta was good for his soul and our souls as fans.
I'll choose to hold onto that feeling until I see him again.
Shit happens.

He can build up again. He just needs to do small acoustic gigs and story telling like atlanta and if possible new material put out but it's not in his capacity to not charge too much and not get his crackhead internet and horror convention heavies all over it.
It's probably too late to get booked but if he did free shows or very cheap he could build confidence but it's really too rational for him to get his head around.

It's sad only if you choose to see it that way.
Don't be negative, you only feel bad!
I see it as a hilarious psychoshit trainwreck.
What's next? Gimme more!

I feel for Vinnie as I always have. I wish he could perform in anyway but maybe he cant and that's ok too. Sometimes I wish we could hear from Cusano and not Vincent. I do not think it's hilarious though... Imagine if it were you, your child, your brother.
