I notice VV now sells signed Kiss CDs on his website. Creatures, LIU and VVI are available.
Took a look today, but the asking price is $150 a piece? Really?
Come on.... I know its easy to sit here and throw criticism his way at the moment, but that's ridiculous. Or is it?

Pricing should be whatever the public are willing to pay? If people don't pay then the price should be lowered to the price that people are willing to pay. I think the debate here is whether they should be aware that they are not in the zip code of what fans are willing to pay? Time should tell us but I agree that $140 to sign a compact disc that he likely paid $10 or less for may be too much.........

At least with the CD's it should be oibvous to most people that the disc is not worth much by itself.
With the guitars that are for sale, they are the absolute cheapest Jackson guitars you can get with a (cheap) Floyd. Vinnie would never play one of those guitars professionally, or at home, but they are being sold for a lot of money over retail, much like the CD's.
In some ways the CD's are better value, you get the autograph and at least the disc is good quality. The guitars, are not great.

The guitars are not full scale. 3/4 scale only.

That makes it even worse. Were the first ones full size at least? I thought the first ones were bad value but at least they were full sized?

What do you mean by "the first ones" ? His website is up since 2018, and I always saw these 3/4 scale guitars for sale. It's writen in the ads, but I did not notice it the first time. I thought that there were not enough details about the guitars so i read carefully the ads again and then I saw they were 3/4 scales.

I guess I was never aware of what size they were, but gee, if they've always been 3/4, that's just awful. I'm not a kid, so I don't want that. And kids grow up, so you don't want to pay that much for a guitar for them to use. That's why these models are cheap to buy from the shops. Oh well.

Yes, and the price is without shipping costs of course. I am not a guitar player, I buy guitars for display because I love guitars. So, a cheap chinese bootleg for me is ok.
Here is a pic of VV and his 3/4 scale guitar

Ok, that is terrible. They are called minion models from Jackson, they are cheap and meant for kids.
Originally he was selling the cheapest Jackson Rhoads with a Floyd, so these small ones are newer. They have no Floyd as they are too small.

The Jackson Rhoads are still on the website, no info about the scale, and they are cheaper than the 3/4 scale. Why ? i don't know

I have these pics too. So, which one is he selling on his website as 3/4 scale ? The minions or these ?
Anyway, never gonna buy that, or a signed cd at $ 150.......
But 1 thing is sure, the lack of info in the ads, make me think that I wouldn't know what I am buying

It's the regular size cheap model Jacksons I can see for sale on the site.
The black one is stock from Jackson, just been signed. He gets someone to paint the the pink and gold ones and they are an extra $500.
He's been pictured with the minion model, but I'm not sure he was ever selling it?

OK. But if you look in the ads, the pink and gold ones are not full scale, 3/4 scale.
The white and black one, no info about the scale so maybe regular size. If, has you say he gets somoneone to paint them in pink and gold, it means the black and the white one are 3/4 scale too.
oh well, I don't think he's selling much of these, mainly with so few details in the ads. People bring him custom made guitars to sign at the cons he does.
The minion model ? I remember people making fun of that when they saw that pic. Saying they were for kids and no way they would buy that.

Oh no. I didn't click the picture, just looked at it.
Vinnie is showing the old full scale, but still cheap, Rhoads he used to sell.
Now indeed it states you will get a 3/4 scale guitar (even cheaper) but that is not what is shown in the pictures.
Anybody could sue his ass for fraud as this is very deceptive.

ok. now you've seen it's 3/4 scale guitars. I believe you, for the tech part and knowledge about guitars.
I wanted to buy one in 2018, but someone told me "don't". These guitars are not worth it, they are a joke.

For the price the guitars have always been a joke. It's even worse that they are now children's guitars.
