I did even know this album was remastered: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... kissfaq-20

Is the remastered version really that much better to make it a compulsory buy for VVI fans?

You can get them cheap on Ebay. I bought the remasters but haven't actually played them. I have heard the ASG sounds really good but they ruined Love Kills which fuckin' sucks big time.

yes. worth it.

why they use the radio edit version of Love Kills on this and the zoom club version is beyond me. The capital one is better than zoom club.. the packaging on zoom club is very very poor.

It's worth getting, and it shows support.
So, stop wondering about it, and buy em.
I did, and everyone should.
Then go to amazon and purchase the mp3 downloads (Four Song EP) & Speedball Jam.
I don't listen to it all the time but Speedball Jam is insane!!!

VVI - Debut Release - is a fuckin' wild tiger let loose in the streets of any major city in World.

Lick It Up - is a tiger waking up.

Creatures Of The Night - is a tiger sleeping

Dynasty / Unmasked - is a dead tiger that needs resuscitation (God, what we had to endure being KISS fans!!!).

Creatures of the Night is an angry tiger waking up after being shot with a tranquiler dart... Lick it up is the Tiger catching the guy that shot the dart and tearing him to pieces :D

Speedball jam is a right royal insult to anyone's intelligence. That cassette deck dribble quality should have been a free down load to fans. Packaging wise, the release is sparse. There is no booklet, but the CD insert does fold out into a 4 panel picture of Vinnie consisting of rehashed regurgitated photos that we have all seen. Details on the varying component parts of the audio material is sparse. The CD only has a single 1 hour 11 minute track, so the material has not been tracked at all. Since the material has been taken from analog sources, no cleanup has been done to take the analog hiss out. Total crap. Another example of his scams.

Look if anyone is really into this stuff, I'll sell you a copy of my ultra shredding nodding for $40 plus postage. I'll even sign that sucker for u (no extra charge  ). Drop me a line...Can't be worse that that crap.

ha. eddie is not spyder if thats what you are thinking.

i didn't like the way speedball was advertised as a brand new vv album. The ad said something about the first vv album in years.. I pre-ordered it thinking it was new tunes only to find one of vv's most boring guitar solos i ever heard.
still great, but just not worth the few months wait and the pre-order.

i think it was richie ranno that put that out.. he even had a banner advertising it on the old pyro board.. something about 'shock and awe' ..

Yeah guys, I'm totally clean and not pullin anyone's leg...
I just love Vinnie and what he did for the Kiss Organization.

I have read the court documents and he (Vinnie) got a raw friggin' deal.
It was ruthless what Gene & Paul did to Vinnie.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Gene & Paul has something to do
with de-railing the Box Set that Vinnie was trying to put out (i.e. through
cease and desist orders due to copyright issues with make-up pics).

Hail To The Beast Of The Pink or Acapulco Gold RR Flying V!!!
(Upside Down Inlays of course...)

if you get the remaster.. the original is going to start to feel left out. You got to think ethically on this matter. Write down everything on a piece of paper. then answer this question to yourself Then a + b + c = (3) + (-2) + (4) = 5
then decided if it really is worth getting.
