Why not? It's not hard to do. Another reason would be to keep people from buying them and scalping them back.

He buys them to make sure others don't buy them and also he uses it as a way of some sort of copyright so I have been told. He also got guitarmageddonguitars.com

I bet he spent at least 3k on buying domains and more on updating the lease.

actually 1000 x $10 to $30 for domains.. I think usually they are around $30 plus admin and at least $10 a year to lease.. whats the calcualtion.. holly cats..
