The poster there doesn't look very professional, where did that come from?

I will confess that I don't know how these things work so forgive me if I'm being a dumbass, but I would assume that the acts announced there all require some sort of advance payment to secure their appearance? Or at the very least are expecting some sort of contract/guarantee of a fee to play on the day, and travel expenses to get there etc? So how have they been secured for the event? I would imagine even just getting John Corabi over to play on his own with an acoustic is going to be a couple thousand dollars, and Ace isn't going to come cheap surely?

So my question is who is fronting the money to get these acts, not to mention the event itself?

- Creatures Fest doesn't get a single mention that I can see on vinnievincent.com - shouldn't that be ground zero for any PR?
- At this point in time, I can't see where to buy a ticket. Can you buy a ticket today? Time is ticking.
- Outside of the Facebook groups and this forum, it's hardly been massively publicised.
- Unless I'm misreading it, the maximum capacity at SIR Studios Nashville is 100 people standing.
- From the initial hype and announcement, it seems to reproduce the Rio event even on this relatively small scale, is going to require some investment.

So how is Creatures Fest financially viable without charging thousands per person?

What am I missing?

There are a lot of questions, and of course the crazy fact you can't buy a ticket yet. If capacity is indeed 100 standing then tickets just cannot be very cheap, not to mention the logistics behind the scenes to have all these bands play.

I found out the poster is from the Legion Facebook, and it looks it, none of this seems to be done on a professional level.

It will be at a hotel in Nashville, TN (not SIR Studios) which will be announced in the coming days. The website is creaturesfest.com and will be live in early January with tickets available then. Neil Davis is the promoter and there will be meet-and-greets for all of the artists. Ace will also be allowing fans to vote on certain songs to be played as part of his setlist. The voting will be online when tickets are purchase, from what I understand. The poster is actually from Neil Davis' Facebook as well as on the KISS Live Auctions page.

Ok, do you have any idea how big this hotel is room wise for the show? It's getting to be a decent sized event with all those bands involved and will literally be the first time Vinnie has played with a band properly in over 30 years so it's quite a momentus occasion if it goes ahead.

Ace's involvement is quite the surprise, never thought a day would come they would be on the same bill, especially a Vinnie event.

So Neil is the organiser of the Kruisefest shows, so he knows what he's doing. I hope he knows what he's got himself into. All those bands is quite a draw, but it's Vinnie and the Creatures stuff that is the big drawcard that everyone will be there to see.

Ah ok I stand corrected in that case. The last announcement I read suggested SIR was the location, and creaturesfest.com suggests the capacity is 850.

Well, the Tank stage sure looks ready and is most impressive!! How much did this thing cost for this show? You would want to use it many times, Vinnie could do a worldwide Creatures Tour!!

Isn't it odd that all the focus in terms of announcements has been on the other guests and not Vinnie? I mean ultimately it started out as his event right? Looking at the website, and the way everyone is positioned, it seems that the lead draw is Ace and Peter. And you could argue they should be, but that wasn't the case when this was announced. It's almost like some of the heat and spotlight has been off Vinnie since those announcements were made.

What's VV going to play? Who's playing with him? If I was a conspiracy theorist, I'd say the guests are there as an insurance policy of some kind.

Still, mysteries are good. Can't wait to see what transpires. I just want to know if he's still got it.

Yes, I noticed that too. It' used to be Vinnie's Creaturesfest, now he's lower on the bill, even though it's called Creaturesfest, for Vinnie's performance, and there is the tank stage, for Vinnie's performance.

Everyone is wondering what will happen, but if Vinnie doesn't play, it's not really Creaturesfest, and the tank stage was for nothing, so my money is on the full on performance he's been promising. It has to happen. Sure the show can go on, this is a very big event now, but the purpose was Vinnie.

Lack of Vinnie news related to this event suggests there's nothing happening with him, i.e. he doesn't have a band, isn't getting ready and would only appear to maybe get up onstage to talk nonsense to the crowd and then do signings. Lack of news might also suggest that he's actively rehearsing with some people he finally approves of, obsessing over how tight the presentation is and starving himself to look better on stage. I'd like to believe the latter but all of his prior history with events makes me think former.

Time will tell.
