I suppose I can put this here, and I know what you're thinking, what the hell is he doing buing another guitar.
This was actually a surprise buy that I am holding onto for another two years, for my son, who has been jamming and learning on some cheap Jacksons I bought and set up for him, to get him going.
This will be his 16th birthday present should things stay on their present course, so it's in hiding at the moment until then.
I'm not an LTD/ESP guy but this is pretty cool and I"m sure he'll love it. Closer to the day I'll set it up etc.

It's a Kirk Hammett sig model, it's got his special EMGs as well.
He's into the horror graphics, so this is another, with the graphics licenced as you have to do these days.
Comes in a very cool case too.

Better get a wah pedal to go along with it!
Looks good though.
And keeping with the horror motif, I have a pawn shop near me with one of these Fernandes Teles from back in 1989. They want about $US500 for it. It's in prett mint condition too.
They also have a PRS "quilt violet" SE 24 for about the same price... they look more pink than violet to me!

The Fernandes would be a quality instrument that I'd appreciate more if it had a traditional finish and styling.
Interesting thing for them to be doing that in 1989, but I guess it was the 80s.
Hammet's Mummy is cool indeed.
No wah yet.

Muisc is great, and playing it is great fun, so we do like to encourage that.
