Creatures Boxset Unboxing Video - Lots of Vinnie

This is cool.

A few observations/questions.

1. Presumably, Kiss owns Vinnie's likeness, which is why they can feature him so extensively in this boxset?
2. Given Kiss' history with Vinnie has been so fraught over the years, I think its cool that they have included his likeness and photos. Perhaps an acknowledgement to how much hardcore fans from that era appreciated VV's contributions to the band at that time?
3. Does Vinnie have any recompense or income from this sort of thing? Or was that all handed over to Kiss when he lost the lawsuits in the 90s?

I remember that Vinnie at least lost the LIU royalties, but considering the loss it stands to reason that all his KISS contributions were lost to pay his debts. So sad.

It's hard to cover the Creatures era without showing Vinnie, he played the whole tour!!

So glad you got a copy as well. I would have loved to have seen Paul's face when he opened this one. I bet he shit seeing all the Vinnie stuff in there. Even putting Vinnie on the cover of 2 albums in this set.

I wish they had put a full version of "Betrayed" on there. I wish they had put all 4 versions of "Back On The Streets" on the box set.

I do like that people got to hear a better version of "Not For The Innocent". I'm sure everyone was wondering how that wasn't included on the album.

I'll take Vinnie's solo over Rick Derringer copying Vinnie anyday

Really doesn't make any sense this wasn't on "Creatures". I would have made it the lead off video. It really does signal the return of KISS.

I do like the LIU version of NFTI though, it's seems more dissident and evil, if that makes sense.

Paul singing is cool but his vocal is really giving off a demo vibe, where he's singing but knows it's not gonna be used and isn't giving it his all.
