shit.. i have to include guys who may not be technical but i like the sound they make or they influenced me in some way. In no order.. I missed out all the jazz guys i love and Yngwie , Lynch , Beech and Vai as I love those guys but I don't really listen to them.. Mick Mars is one of my favourites because of many things.. i know he's no shredder.. i am also not a big crue fan either.

And as for Viv Campbell, do you mean he was great live with Whitesnake as the only recording he did with Whitesnake was the solo on the single version of "Give me all your loving Tonight"!!! I loved the Dio stuff he did when I was growing up. And I forgot about Blackmore with Rainbow! Good to have an older bro to indoctrinate me to the "older" pre-shredders! Only good thing about older brothers though!!!

Right on brother! I like his hand vibrato especially on the song Back in Black. Some guys lists look like Mick Mars, Ace Frehley, Keith Richards, Billy Squier etc which may be cool dudes but not the greatest guitarists but consistent with their talent level.
