Has Palecki quit?

Anyone know if Palecki has quit the whole Guitarmageddon fiasco yet?

I will not bother asking him myself.. but I have a feeling he's on to something else now.

You would think he'd have to see that there is not much going on at "TM1" in terms of sales. The pricing policy basically screams out "we do not want to sell any guitars"

I wish him all the best. The best he can do is do something else.

No sign of ANY Vinnie Vincent guitars on his Facebook. I believe he had the 1991 Pear picture posted before.

He surely is confused by his ranting on YouTube as well as the changing of the phone number and future website. I an sure tom was going to set up the site also.

I trust Palecki, just not the people you send your cash to.

TJ MONSTER Guitars wouldn't show up to NAMM with unfinished guitars.

Tom Palecki is a nice guy though. I believe he has been too nice to Vinnie. The company you keep is a strong reflection of your own personality. It looked like Tom was looking to make a UNFAIR hefty chunk of cash on those guitars as well.

If the theory that some people(not me) have on this forum is true:
If Tom didn't finish the guitars because he might POSSIBLY be afraid of Vinnie taking them, should he be doing business with him in the first place?

Tom got the whole ball rolling with VV. I was in contact with him when he was searching for him. I think he even posted on the pyro board he was trying to get the whole thing together. I believe it was Tom's idea to start the guitar up again.
I do believe he didn't finish them so Mrs Cusano didn't take them back to Nashville to the vv guitar grave in his house.

But its a guess, and there could be a simple reason other than that.

I think Tom is a great guy and most likely he is well pissed with me, but he stopped talking to me after VV deleted me (which I understand) so I felt I could talk more freely and truthfully.

I would love to have a Palecki guitar but I think its hard to get hold of him. I would get him to make a more jazz guitar than the VV model.

ha. i would have a Casino or a hollow jazzmaster, even though I don't need either. I start believing I am good when I don't play for a while and then when I pick up the guitar and my wife tells me i sound flat (like she always does) and I don't hear it myself, I put it down and get deperessed.

Thanks onefinger. 3 of the guitars are listed as being 24 1/2 inch scale?? Is this a typo? I've heard of 24 3/4 scale but I guess it's only a mathematical thing and any scale length is possible. Curious though!

He is still involved. I didn't realise the pink had jumbo and the others medium. I wonder what is happening with the sales and promotion of the guitars.

"I worked directly with Vinnie to produce the most accurate prototype copies of the late eighties guitars that he used during the Vinnie Vincent Invasion years"
Ummmm the inlays and headstock look NOTHING like the guitars from the 80s. So accurate wouldn't be the word of choice here. But whatever.

headstock not the same,
tremolo not the same.
pick ups not the same,
pre-amp not the same.
inlays not the same (maybe more like washburn/ibanez)
the design looks to be close but i am not so sure the exact same dmensions.

overall it looks to be a great job even though some have said the neck pick up is too close to neck and some have said the inlays look strange at namm and the frets were a little rough. Is the guitar worth 10k plus with shipping, case and taxes?? I would never question Tom as a 'master' builder but at these prices there should be no doubt about anything. Also the ordering situation is a huge joke.

I also don't think the inlays on the jackson and washburn were abalone, i think m.o.p.
maybe the Carvin was abalone however.

Tom is ready to go and of course the phone number doesn't work and the website isn't up and active. Who and what is the common denominator - Vinnie!
