Who is your replacement? For me it's Jeff Waters. The guy is ridiculously talented, writes great songs that are metal as fuck and despite the revolving door of members in his band he manages to put out actual albums and do interviews and public appearances! Also, unlike some people, he actually seems to be a nice guy.

If you haven't heard Annihilator I strongly recommend them. Check out the track "Invite It", it's my current favorite.

$699 online

Epiphone - 6-string - Full Size - Electric
Epiphone and Jeff Waters unite to create the ultimate guitar for massive, ear pounding destruction! The Jeff Waters Annihilation V starts a solid mahogany neck joined to a solid mahogany body using a traditional deep-set, handed fitted, glued-in Flying V neck-joint with a D-profile. On the SlimTaper neck sits a 24-fret phenolic fingerboard that allows a full two octaves of range mixed with an ultra smooth and extremely durable surface.

Plus ,He turned down an offer to join Megadeth pissing Dave Mustaine off in the process.

Exactly. Jeff's a cool dude. Sometimes Annihilator misses but they have a TON of awesome songs and a few GREAT albums. I love them and I want that guitar.

i saw them live many times in 89, 90 and maybe 91 too. Twice opening up for Testament (a band I was never keen on and I got my ass kicked eveytime I saw them) ... A little bit of a haze on the exact dates.. But I was into them. Liked Alice in Hell and Stonewall albums (not sure if those were the titles).. have not heard any tunes since however.

You should definitely check out some of their stuff. There's a lot of stuff on you tube. Here's a great song:
