Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!
We're actually in the High Desert at about 3,600 ft. We've had the property here since 2005 and been here full time since 2007. We usually get about 1" to 2" this time of year except last year that got none. I guess Old man Winter got pissed off this year and gave us 4" to 6" inches. Snowed all day on the 31st, early morning to night fall and started freezing up yesterday. Finally got to the post office and into town mid morning today. Hope it melts off better tomorrow.
Oh yeah, driving around Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and California I remember now how crazy high the altitudes were sometimes.
We drove up and down thousands of feet going from one place to another.
Here in Canberra its cold enough that we would get lots of snow but our altitude is low, so it's just very cold, with the occasional small snowfall to make things interesting. Once in the 60's it snowed on Xmas day, which is unusual as that is summertime. Right now it's mid summer so it's quite warm.
