With all of the game playing and lack of organization , I am starting to believe that the final nail will be pounded into the coffin soon. I don't want to believe it BUT it has never been about what "I" or "WE" want.
Vinnie, It's time to go away and just let us be . We have tried to help you (therefore helping ourselves)to no avail and have failed . Let us have our UNAUTHORIZED TRIBUTE SITE to praise your past efforts. Don't address anything that goes on here if you are not going to do it OFFICIALLY.
You STILL have not made any OFFICIAL announcement.
I choose to bask in the glory of two of my favorite concert experiences . ('83 and '88)
I choose to remember the feelings I had when I got to meet you.
I will honor your influence when I eventually play on my TJ MONSTER VVV.
I will keep telling myself that you are a good person.
If we are not bringing each other any happiness, it is time for you to go.
If you think we can turn this around for the betterment of all who give a care, then make your move.

Re: CONSIDER IT OVER
Tom won't give them to him because he know they will disappear forever, like the pear did.

Re: CONSIDER IT OVER
they only met at NAMM, I think somewhere between '89 and '91. He sent the Pear to V in 1992 and it was supposed to be a protype sample. I think even as alte as '96 they planned to make it for sale, but then when metaluna evaporated, vv kept it and Tom didn't hear a peep. Tom was somewhat a regular on the pyro board for a long time and also on the doublev board before i gave it to vinnie.
Ed Roman who was friends with Tom also confirmed that VV pretty much never gave the guitar back and never paid tom a cent for it. They have not met since, just through telephone and email.
