Ex-KISS Guitarist -- Blood, Cuts and 4 Dead Dogs

Former KISS guitarist Vincent Cusano -- aka Vinnie Vincent -- allegedly smacked his wife in the face and dragged her through a pile of broken glass on the night he was arrested ... and when cops arrived to the house, they found 4 dead dogs at the scene ... this according to law enforcement.

The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ ... on May 22, Vincent's wife, Diane, arrived to the Sheriff's Office "covered in blood" and reeking of alcohol.

Cops say 44-year-old Diane told the officers how she had just escaped from the couple's Tennessee home ... after Vincent "smacked her in the face" following an argument about a "female subject [Vincent] was talking to." She says Vincent then "grabbed her by the hair and threw her down to the ground."

Diane says Vincent then "dragged her through a pile of glass from a broken plate that had been on the floor since before the argument had started."

Diane told police she tried to get away -- but 58-year-old Vincent threw her to the ground 4 more times. She eventually escaped and drove herself to the station.

Cops dispatched officers to the home -- where they found Vincent and "four sealed containers containing deceased dogs."

Diane told the cops .... the dogs had been "killed by one of their aggressive dogs."

Vincent was eventually arrested and booked for aggravated domestic assault -- and his bond was set at $10,000. TMZ obtained his mug shot, pictured above.

An animal service team was contacted to look into the dead dog situation.

The dog thing sounds crazy. Vinnie loves dogs. How did all the dogs die ? No way .. they had to be killed. This is so strange. I got to say vv may have gone crazy from the dogs being killed which a lot of people would do. Holly shit.

Vinnie was, is and always will be my hero. I love his music and looks. In KISS and after.
The last year I was hoping for the best. Supporting you by buying a guitar was a bit out of my league otherwise I would have ordered one 4 sure.

Meeting Vinnie in 96 is one of the highlights of my life. You rocked my world..

By some accounts, it looks like Vinnie is home.
Since his release from jail,is it him or Diane accessing our forum in the last 24 hours???

Vinnie has either realized his errors or has been instructed (by his attorney) to take down the threats on Youtube.

Same, I keep looking at the picture and it is such a shame. It's a bit like seeing a ghost. He does look sad. Aside from that I think he does look pretty good. Still very much like Vinnie Vincent. To be honest there's not too much difference from 2003, apart from age difference, which is natural. When I look at the picture I just think damn, this guy is such a genius. But this is all crazy.

I hope the truth comes out, and is in some way not as bad as it sounds. Best of luck to Vinnie.

I am with monster. As a man you can not swing at a woman. If a woman swings at me I deserve it. Unless Diane was covering for vv surely it would have not been vv to kill the dogs as she already has explained what happened if he'd done it she would have acussed him. Remember dianes dad owns most of vvs copyrights etc
Vinnie hid that address for years.
I really can not believe it .. no vinnie news for 15 years and in the last year we get enough for a life time.

as much as i condemn violence against a woman, we don't really know anything except second or third hand info.This is not to justify or condone any kind of behaviour, but a suggestion to wait until things get clear.

And,in my opinion, in such a delicate situation, last thing V-or ANYBODY for that matter- needs is people discussing,dissecting and making statments about his private life.

I just don't get this guy, he refuses to make contact with fans, releases no music at least formally, does no interviews for 15 years. Expects to sell guitars for nine thousand dollars each is now fifty eight years old, and shows up after beating the crap out of his wife with dead dogs in buckets and a fifteen year old 80's rocker wig on in a mug shot. Just sad..

Its more than obvious that what ever talent and common sense he did have has long been left behind .

Fuck, no one deserves this. Vinnie has sabotoged his career in the past, now it seems as if he has not only sabotoged his comeback, he has also just destroyed his life.It looks like Vinnie will reside in a jail cell for many years.

His attorneys have not been too incredible in the past and I don't see them coming up with anything to get Vinnie off the hook here.
I hope there is an explanation ,or false allegations, but it looks like we are done here.

Prayers for Diane, the dogs,and Vinnie.

Dianes wounds do sound bad. Totally crazy. I never had vv for a violent guy. I know his situation of being home bound and frustration can lead to uncharacteristic behaviour.

This is disgraceful, I can't believe she has been that badly injured... He deserves to be punished for his actions, if there is anything that I cannot stand it is violence to women, children & animals and Vinnie seems to have potentially done two of these terrible acts of violence... What will become of him if found guilty?? Will he become more reclusive than ever?? Diane will tell her story to a magazine soon and this will tear down the walls of secrecy that have surrounded Vinnie for over a decade now... He needs to also make a formal statement to ensure his side of the story is properly communicated to not only the media but the public... I can only imagine what people are thinking about Vinnie right now, and woman bashing is not good to have on your profile if you are trying to make a comeback. I really hope that Diane is doing ok and recovers quickly, to be hospitalized due to her injuries confirms that she was badly hurt... I believe that Vinnie has burned his last bridge here due to the ownership of many of his properties by the Kero Family. How would Les or Diane forgive this horrible incident? He's looking better than I thought he would though, I wasn't expecting him to have a wig on in the photo, he obviously still cares about his appearance...Gene & Paul have both had plastic surgery and time has been kinder to them and they don't look that much better than Vin... He looks very sad in the pic though...

i don't think he will hang out at his house much longer. he is very private and even most of his neighbours didn't know he lived their. he went out of his way to protect that address and is very concernred about people outside his house (supposedly he has contacted the police many times). from what I hear he was very paranoid about stalkers etc. Now that everyone in the world knows where he lives it will be the end of that for vv. I believe he would not be able to feel safe (even if he is ) at that address.
I don't think he can leave state but if the case is dropped than I think he may go back to New England or somewhere no one knows where he is.

Vinnie has a lot of secrets and its not easy for him, and you do have to remember he was not living in a normal situation. He NEVER left the house. Never Ever!! Its not a healthy thing and can breed some big time frustration.

What needs to happen now is for VV to get some help. Hopefully he can accept it and accept he needs it.

I think they both will be held responsible for those poor animals and be charged with neglect/animal cruelty.

Add Vinnie's aggravated assault to that and it seems that this will not pan out well and result in a long jail time for him.
