Sydney trip this week!

Woo hoo, Serena and I have this Friday off to head to Sydney!

We'll be hanging out with Dannii and his lovely family, Serena's going to love playing with Aurora. She'll be excited to see someone else has as many guitars as Daddy, ha ha.

Be both have Friday off from work and school to hang out, then on Saturday we are going to the Dinosaur Arena Spectacular show. I just want to see a life size T-Rex.

Can't wait!

Dannii is indeed in Sydney. He should be catching up with us when DTK play a Sydney show.

Maybe also at Soundwave Revolution?

i enjoyed Sydney when i lived there (harris street) - i admit i did preffer Melbourne tho.

Still if i could go back today i would jump at it.

Well, we met up with Dannii and his lovely family. Aurora is just gorgeous and Serene loved playing with her and her toys.

Met up with some other friends for dinner who we haven't seen for over 5 years since their wedding before they moved to Utah. Now they are back and expecting their first child next month. Last time they saw Serena she was still in the womb.

Now Serena is tucked into bed, ready to see the dinosaurs tomorrow, another big day.

You know what I mean!!!!......lol.....

It's ironic as we were expecting and now they are. There were some 10 day old twins at their wedding, we parked next to them, and they babysat them last weekend. One laughed so hard she threw up!! Those guys are in for some fun times.

Dannii - You look like you have a little of the Django Reinhardt fingering technique going! Thanks for that and what a fun time it looks like you all had!

Actually, Michael Schenker uses a similar fingering technique at times as well.

It is really great to see some happy pictures of both you guys

although you're both steering at a fret board with intense concentration so we can't see you that well

That's way too big a compliment Kevin...I only wish, even a little. I'm just a metalhead guy, really. I like all the other styles, but I'm not good enough. I can do a good fake VV, but then I've blown my watt as MAB says about his students. Been listening to some Django Reinhardt. Very cool stuff.

Ha ha, I like to downplay my abilities. My main problem is writing cool solos. Noodling away and playing solos in songs is ok, I just don't like anything I make up other than for fun.
