If You Want To Light Virtual Candle For Vinnie (link)

I have begun lighting virtual candles for Vinnie as we approach his court date.
I will keep them lit until even after the court date.

Please light one or or as many as you like, if you feel called to reach out in love, support, compassion etc.

Please don't leave any comments here that aren't supportive.

This is a sacred prayer thread.

If you don't want to light one, please don't leave a post telling why. Just move onto the next thread.

I would like this thread to remain COMPLETELY positive and about the candle ceremony alone.

This is very important to me and I would greatly appreciate respecting my request.

I have lit 5 candles already. They burn for 24 hours.
You can leave a prayer with the candle. You can pass the mouse cursor over the candles I lit, to read mine.
I don't mind copying and pasting either.

Vinnie has his own "group" of candles.

This will be a very beautiful and very powerful display of love and loyality for/to Vinnie.

I know that many of you have been deeply hurt but if you ever wanted to express your love and support, now is the time.

Each one of you (or almost) has said that you wished things would be different ... now is your chance to use your co-creative abilities and manifestation and offer Vinnie a beautiful example of faith, trust and love.

I have a feeling, it will mean the most to Vinnie right now.

It has been almost proven (to some extent) that prayers do in fact work.
It is all faith though isn't it?

Vinnie's authentic higher self) has the freedom to choose if or how much he wants to feel the prayers in action.
I can't speak for Vinnie's experience but many people feel the energy of the prayers.

Another word for prayer is positive attention . No one knows you are doing it but put your attention on someone . Just a image and then think of nothing.
Basically attention is energy . If you need to pee you put your attention on it and it comes out.. no need to squeeze your bladder with your hand. It's kind of magic if you think. So some believe this attention can carry to other destinations such as a person.

Honestly, I'm all for the symbolism & sentiment involved with the ritual. The only thing that I don't like (& this isn't just pointing this 'Virtual Candle' ) is the whole Virtual world & that people have stopped doing these thing for real. Personally, I think it cheapness the whole thing. I was brought up Roman Catholic in an Italian house hold. I'm fully aware of the symbolic gesture of the lighting of candles. Don't get me wrong, I understand the symbolism is the same, it just feel weird to be doing it & even more strange setting up the one for the memory of Annmarie Cusano. I did it cause I'm trying to be open minded about it & see another point of view.
(Maybe I just don't like it cause I work for a huge Banking Corporation & can see how a single key stroke can destroy on a mass scale, peoples lives ,,,all assisted by your friendly computer)

Hi Dannii,

You have many good points but it's also very difficult to keep candles lit 24/7 ... which is what I'm doing.

They smoke, burn out, flicker too much ... many would say, it's just plain dangerous to have them lit constantly. Even the candles themselves (many I have seen) have a sticker that states not to let them burn for more than 8 hours (I believe).

Thank you for your perseverance and retaining your open mind.

The virtual candles link us all along with Vinnie energetically.

The candles (physical or virtual) are 'extensions of our intentions' and carry as much or little power and energy as we allow them to have.
They are only as powerful as we enable them to be ..or not.

I personally feel the energy being offered to Vinnie but then again, it is my intention that it be that love-filled.

I was probably subconsciously thinking about the Stooges . I have been watching my DVD's a lot lately.

I love every Stooge as I feel that they all had incredible talent and timing yet I have to admit that Shemp is my favorite Stooge at the moment.
