I have actually been watching a lot of his clinic footage on Youtube lately.

I can see Vinnie doing something along the lines of this :
Playing to a tape and having a casual atmosphere.Jeff has the personality to pull this off.
Vinnie had the personality at one point. I would love to see if he still does.

Vinnie would kill in a guitar clinic situation. Stuff like that didn't happen much in the 80's, it would be amazing to see.

yeah, vv is made for guitar clinics. he would be great and I am sure come off as a great guy.

The thing is he needs an endorsement and I don't see it happening. Maybe an amp company if he is stubborn with his AZG guitar.

All he needs to do a clinic is someone, usually a store, to promote it, much like a concert. No need to endorse anything, just come a long.

I would love to see that.
He could do the whole 'flog your CD' at the same time and he could offer signatures...only on the new CD of course, which isn't really that unreasonable.
Get some cool exposure and some moolah at the same time

Still, If there is a clinic tour, there MUST be a sponsor.

It seems that a lot of the guitarists have a modeling pedal now. It would be great if Vinnie looked into that. Zoom and Digitech make awesome modeling pedals.

I still think Dean guitars or DBZ guitars is the way to go. ( TJ MONSTER Guitars would be the coolest)

As for amps- I'm a Marshall Jubilee kinda guy but we have to think about a company that would be willing to support Vinnie. Krank Amplifiers???

i don't see anyone big getting involved with VV to do a clinic tour. Its a real niche market when it comes to VV and I think also they would also want to make sure he is going to be easy to work with and presentable.

I don't listen to a lot of metal anymore but
Alice in Hell is handsdown my fav trash metal album

It's so perfect, great bass by Jeff himself, loud guitars, raw vocals by Randy Rampage!!!
Fast songs, mid-tempo songs, progressive songs, acoustic opener
Technical but not too technical
Traces of jazz and classical here and there
Brilliant monster riffs
Great songwriting that touches on psychology and fantasy

Back in high school I've listened to this album so much
I can literally play the whole thing through in my head
One of the few albums I can just put on and listen to all day long

Definitely up there with Overkill's Under The Influence

i saw them open for Testament. They blew them away in my opinion. Mosh pit hell as well. We were in this weird ice rink that had crazy low roof. ahh, the good old days.

My high school friend lost control of his car and it flipped over. They were ok . While they were hanging upside down in the car Alice in Hell was playing really loudly from the car stereo.

Good band for sure. I remember when Jeff Watters was supposed to join Megadeth. I think around the time of Marty Friedman. I remember one magazine saying he had joined.

Yeah I think my uncle saw them play too in '89 I think?? They were playing a show in Belgium and the crowd was basically dead (damn belgians =P), besides during Alice in Hell, but all the songs off that album are classics to me...

yeah '89 I saw them with Testament and I think maybe early 90 on their own, but its a confusion. I think they had a singer change between concerts. the first singer was a very funny guy. Basically did stand up comedy between songs.

He almost joined a few years ago as well.
