Human Beings Make Mistakes

All humans make mistakes. They slip. They fall. They get caught up and go down a wrong path sometimes.

I try not to judge a person by the mistakes they make, but by the way they conduct themselves after.

Do they take ownership?

Do they apologize?

Do they make amends?

I do not judge Vinnie for:
- not delivering the box set
- in a regrettable moment of weakness, striking his wife
- wanting people to be positive on HIS forum

I call him "less than a man" and "piece of shit" for:
- not admitting he promised more than he could deliver, apologizing and returning my money/giving something else
- lying about beating her up and the charges being dropped, publicly apologizing to his wife and volunteering to perform community service at a local battered women's shelter
- being up front about his forum/who runs it, apologize for how he has treated his fans because of this and joins in an open and honest discussion with us instead of hiding behind lies/BS

Great post. This is how I feel and it applies to a lot of things. It's not that you made the mistake, it's what you do about it. It's called being a man about it.

I think this forum would see a HUGE turnaround towards the positive if Vinnie would just be a man.

It would take him less than an hour. Think about that. One honest, conciliatory gesture would take him less than 1 hour of his life and all the healing and positivity would flow like a river.

Agreed, we would see a HUGE turnaround towards the positive if Vinnie would take ownership, apologize & made amends. One one would be able to say anymore smart-ass comment ever again if he did those 3 little things. & the great part of it would be it wouldn't cost him any money. Saying sorry is free..You just have to feel it.
