Great gig that one! Naughty Bruce with the strippers! I remember Paul hassling him when the strippers went towards Bruce. Bruce trying not to turn red I think!!!!! Got 5th row for that gig!

Awesome Shram! You were at BEC too that night! I was 2nd row to the left of centre & I caught Bruces pick that night...! Which is now sadly lost after 15 years of moving house so many times

Re: Happy Birthday MeteoraXV!
Bummer! I was right of centre (like Freddy! Sorry, political joke! Sorry Fred). I've some pics from that gig that I'll dig out! There are some boobies I might warn though! But not too graphic!
I went to the Kiss convention at the Hilton but I think I've only video of that and a cassette recording of the unplugged gig there!!! Shhhhhh!!! LOL.
I then flew down to Sydney, snuck into the convention there just after the unplugged gig (still couldn't get near G & P for an autograph!) and went to the Sydney concert and was allocated complete crap seats! Gene's side actually behind the front edge of the stage! There was only a few of us seated there??? Gig pretty much the same but I remember one of Singer's tom mics played up! Strippers were ugly too!!!!!
I got one of Satriani's picks though! The roadie gave in to the begging at the end of the show and just threw the last 10 or so out in one go! Got to meet him and Jonathon Mover after the show!

Just like me Andrew, video of QnA session, audio of unplugged in Sydney. I started doing video too but got busted.
Same at the gig the next night I got busted for video and amazingly audio too. Never got busted for audio before or since.

Re: Happy Birthday MeteoraXV!
So I guess that means I met both of you 16 years ago!!!! I remember sitting in the comfy chairs at the sydney Hilton talking to some guy. Or comparing the colour on the convention passes to see if my mates and i could sneak in! Guess one of them was you Vic!!! LOL

Re: Happy Birthday MeteoraXV!
Ok, my mates and I had a merchandise table at the Sydney Hilton. Fatty Vaughtan came by, we were also doing the Kiss Sacrifice fanzine back then.
My brother downloaded a video of the Sydney Hilton stuff which I think was shot by Channel 10 as there is an extended interview with Paul and Bruce in it. They filmed a lot of the stuff there and you can see Tommy Thayer filming with a rather impressive for the time camcorder and then there is footage of me doing the same, but with a smaller camcorder I had borrowed!!! I have my hair in a ponytail and am wearing my Tesla t-shirt.
I have a feeling I've seen it before, so not sure if Channel 10 used it for a their news segment on it or what, but I had a feeling of dejavu seeing it again. Right after me is another guy from Canberra I know. Weird stuff.
It would be funny if we had met.
I remember from that tour the very expensive leather jacket and the rather strange t-shirt where it looks like a boy is rooting a dog from behind and the dog has a look of happy surprise on it's face.

Re: Happy Birthday MeteoraXV!
Ha! I'd forgotten about that shirt! Remembered the jacket though. And we did have the first Kiss wedding in Brissy too! Man, she was ugly!!! Well that's not quite true but they all looked like hippies rather than Kiss fans. Maybe they did it for the publicity? The other interesting thing about Brissy was that the tribute band's drummer had 3rd degree burns on his arm that he got that day! He checked himself out of hospital to do the gig!

Vic so you know mark findeiss?! I used to buy merchandise from him all the time from '94-'97 when I was still collecting kizz merch... I still have about 12 issues of sacrifice packed in a box at my parents home
it was a great fanzine much better than crazy knights...

Re: Happy Birthday MeteoraXV!
Yes, I mentioned Kiss Sacrifice a while ago to see if anybody knew about. Mark and i go back to the 80's, when we were young!!!
We started Kiss Sacrifice, but as I was still going to school it was too much for me, so once he was ok with using the computer I left him to it and he did a great job.
I have all the issues and I should have all the Sneak Attack newsletters too. I made the first of those up when I interviewed Dynasty in a backstage toilet at the Cobra Club in Sydney for the Revenge launch party. Good times. I have some interesting pics I should scan someday when I find them again.

I was a member of Crazy Knights. But I remember your club being mentioned when we both got guaranteed concert tix for the convention tour. Didn't get to use my tix voucher as it was only for 2 and there were about 6 I had to get tix for!

Re: Happy Birthday MeteoraXV!
Do you mean "dynissty"?
they were great weren't they?! I can't believe you started out sacrifice with mark, that's coolio! It was such a different fanzine because it delved into the more obscure facts of the masked era of kiss... Some great pics too were always in the mag!

Re: Happy Birthday MeteoraXV!
Yeah, dynissty, I knew there name was spelled differently somehow.
I didn't have the time, or a car, to do the fanzine with Mark. I spend all my money on Kiss stuff, otherwise I could have had a car sooner, lol. I remember being at Mark's place when I should have been at school instead!
We didn't want to make a fanzine like all the rest, though we sold out almost right away for issue 2 and did a Revenge special when they toured Europe.
We got into the Kisstory book at the back and got some messages form the guys.

Re: Happy Birthday MeteoraXV!
I bought boots from Mark around 1984 to 1994. There were some great ones amongst them. I also saw Dynnasty around 1989. I went with Linc Thurcht, whose brother was in Tokyo Rose. I think Mark was there. He asked me to contribute to the fanzine Kiss Sacrifice around 1994. I drew a picture of the members in makeup sitting around in an occult ceremony. They were saying something like "we call on the dark lord". However, I never ended up doing anything for the fanzine that I can remember. Mark got into strife with Kiss and I think he stopped making the mag. He had some X-Rated photos in there and was saying bad things. But, from what I remember, he had a photo signed from Ace and had corresponded with Peter's wife and Gene. I saw Mark in a wheelchair a few years ago. I didn't know Mark started the mag with someone else!!! That means something to me- given what they ended up connected to, and the fact that the mag was mentioned in Time Magazine. I'm wondering if Mark's dead by now?!?

Hi Benji,
Mark is alive and well. My brother hangs out with him more these days actually as they are both still interested in tape trading, though now its all about DVD's. I stopped collecting a long time ago but Mark was a treasure trove of Kiss and Rock goodies. I got most of my stuff from Mark and did a little trading of my own with people, local and international.
