My experiences w/ Vinnie 2
SINCE EVERYBODY RESPONDED TO MY FIRST POST, I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE ANOTHER STORY, TAKE IT FOR WHAT YOU WILL. THIS COMES FROM MY BEST FRIEND DURING GRADE 3 AND 9 WHO I WOULD FIGHT OVER WHO WAS BETTER, KISS ( ME ) OR IRON MAIDEN ( HIM ! ) TO THIS DAY WE ARE STILL GOOD FRIENDS. KISS WAS IN WINNIPEG , MB ( CANADA ) FOR THE LIU TOUR BACK IN 83-84. MY FRIEND AND HIS FRIEND WHO I KNEW BUT, WASN'T FRIENDS WITH WENT TO THIS CONCERT. MY PARENTS STILL THOUGHT I WAS TO YOUNG TO GO TO SUCH AN EVENT( FUCKERS !) ANYWAYS, THE STORY GOES, THEY WENT DOWN TO THE HOTEL WHERE WORD HAD IT KISS WERE STAYING AND WAITED TO HAVE A CHANCE AND GET AUTOGRAPHS. IN THE LOBBY THEY MET ERIC CARR WHO SIGNED MY FRIENDS CREATURES L.P.. MY FRIENDS FRIEND HAD A DESTROYER AND DYNASTY TAPE AND ERIC TOLD HIM THAT HE DID NOT PLAY ON THOSE ALBUMS AND HE DIDNT FEEL COMFORTABLE SIGNING THEM BUT, WOULD IF ( THE FRIEND WAS O.K. W/ IT ! ) MY FRIEND THEN SAID THIS LITTLE GUY ( VINNIE ) APPEARED OUT OF NO WHERE AND STARTED SIGNING EVERYTHING HE COULD GRAB OUT OF FANS HANDS ! THE NEXT DAY, WHEN I WAS TOLD THAT, I WAS LIKE " WOW " ERIC WAS SUCH A GENTLEMEN TO ASK IF THE PERSON WAS O.K. W/ HIM SIGNING SOMETHING HE DIDNT EVEN PLAY ON, THEN THERE WAS VINNIE SIGNING DESTROYER & DYNASTY W/ OUT ASKING. THOUGHT THAT WAS KINDA FUCKED UP ! ANYWAYS, NOT THE WORST STORY ON HERE BUT, THOUGHT I WOULD MENTION IT. WORD HAD IT G & P STAYED IN A DIF HOTEL FOR THOSE OF YOU WONDERING ( THAT I FOUND STRANGE TOO BUT, NOT UN-HEARD OF ). ANYWAYS, I WOULDN'T HAVE LET VINNIE SIGN MY DESTROYER L.P. IF I WAS THERE ONLY CREATURES & LIU !
