Dragons kiss was a revaluation to me. Winger had a really good guitar sound. Yngwies album was pretty good that year .. asg is the best however. Maybe the vote rigging got asg the boot.
Impelliteri stand in line was pretty good that year too.

Are you my twin??? Apart from Winger (who I had only read about at the time) I completely agree with your statement!

I was working in Brisbane and I went home for Easter. One workmate gave me AJ4A, another gave me So Far, So Good, So What to listen to(and to copy the cassette!!!). Listened to AJ4A once then So Far. No comparison! I was an instant Megadeth fan. Tried to listen to AJ4A a few times but just couldn't get through it. Lars' lifeless drum tone, Hammett's overrated playing and Hatfield going urgh at the end of every sentence turned me off for good! I don't own a single Metallica anything! They just don't float my boat.

Metallica kick ass, Justice is epically fantastic!!!!! Puppets is a masterpiece and Lightning is great too. The first album sounds really dated, they grew so much for Lightning, they were on their way.

Then they lost it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always liked the first two records of metallica especially the first one. Justce for all I didn't like. I like 'one' if it hadn't been so overplayed on mtv along with rag doll , pour some sugar on me and paradise city. Mtv knew how to kill a good tune.

Ooooh yeah...I love "And Justice for all". I discovered Dalton Trumbo's "Johnny Got His Gun" through the video "One". Score! :)
