Yes must agree with you doublev, Vinnie was/is(?) unique. Not only a shreddy, but an awesome song writer. Even if you pulled out of the solos, they songs stand on their down. I was amazing listening to ASG unmixed & how good it was. Even his rhythm work is amazing.
I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.

It's Showtime! Best shuffle ever! "Leave your name and number in the dumpster when you're through, don't call us, we'll call you". Even better than Hot for Teacher!

I love the Wah! Hate Hammett though! Proud to say I don't own a single Metallica album. In 89' two guys gave me 2 tapes when I came home for Easter from my first job. 1 tape was And Justice for All and the other was So Far, So Good, So What...NO comparison in my eyes (ears)! I loved Megadeth instantly and I think I only listened to Justice once. I didn't mind One though, although I still have them on VHS playing it on the 89' American Music Awards. They had to play so quietly and the guitar tone was shite!!! And I thought Hammett's main solo was cliche too!metatron wrote:I F**K HATE Kirk Hammet & U2(feel ill just saying U2...F**K HATE U BONO SUX COX.) I want to make it law that unless you can really play guitar (& I'm not necessarily saying you need to pull out 400 notes a second) you can not have a wah pedal. If you found with a wah pedal, electrodes will be attached to your testicles & they will be amped up.teej wrote:I agree with pretty much everything you say ´Jack`.. I also LOATHE Kirk Hammet
Written & spoke by Metatron against people who can't play guitar & cover it up by using a wah pedal.

With all of the endorsements that guitarists give ( George Lynch anyone ?
), I always believed that Kirk Hammett should have taken advantage of a Nike shoe/ Dunlop WAH endorsement. The WAH pedal is built into the shoe so the fucker can WAH AWAY and sound like a duck without missing a step. No need for those silly wireless WAH WAHS cluttering the stage anymore .

Awesome band Batman. All their albums are great. The first two with Stephen Clifford are insane. Got a live 1984 DVD that has some other versions of 'Night of the crime' songs on it. Totally awesome. So underrated...Batman wrote:Fuck! You like ICON aswell? They're great!

I'm an Akira fan too and have seen him several times but I think the last time that I saw him perform live was about 18 years ago. I can't believe how time passes so quickly. It must have been great to see him close in a small club.
