it kind of is not so important now. just back then it was even hard to find out simple stuff. i knew the albums and had them all but i used to go to record shops and look at kiss stuff incase something pops up that i missed. you never seemed to know for sure if you had everything or not.

Ooo thank you!!!! :D That is pretty pricey! I might have to keep my eyes open for a cheaper copy, but it looks really good. Always love to expand my KISS book collection!!! :D

Still on fire was an excellent book. Can't remember where I bought my first one but I read it LOTS. So much that I covered it in contact.

I found another at Utopia in Sydney so I bought it too.

It's worth that auction price, a killer Kiss collectables.

I love that. That its actually from the 80s. Anything I can get into that is from back then is like stepping me closer to the time. :)

I've still got my copy that I purchased at Kent records in Brisbane in 1989 for $25 back then...there are pages at the back that has a full discography with pics of kiss & solo albums plus an insane collection of bootleg lps... The best was all the Dutch kiss pictures in the book and the memorabilia pages... There are also rare lick it ip backstage photos which were cool

The Lick It Up photos would be my main drawing point!!! :D :D Wow, $25 back then, that is amazing, how things go up in price now its $48. So so so cool. There are probably so many KISS bootlegs, would be impossible to know them all!

So did I dude! So did I!!!! Lived in Brissy for 3 months in 89'! Stocked up on the rare "overseas" stuff from Kent while I was there! Aaaaahhh! Elizabeth Street in 89'! Comic shops, Palings Music where I saw my first Jem as they removed it from the box and a 29 fret Serg Washburn (played like crap!) and Kent Music! My Racer X supplier!!!
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains! :(

Alright Shram! Yeah Elizabeth St was great :D We had Rockinghorse Records which had bulk vintage collectables, Daily Planet Comics, Palings Music, Skinnys music (I rented an English import of Phantom of the Park from there on a 7 day rental - I had to get my aunt to sign up because I was under age!) & Kent records :D

The Kiss book still on fire was in a stack on the front counter and at the same time they had a mega rare English release box set called : Kiss - Video box! It had Animalize live uncensored, Kiss Exposed, Kiss Crazy Nights all included in a specially designed box set and it was about $80 then which was steep for then! Anyway, good times in Brizzy back in the 80's!
