What I've done is stepped outside of my normal writing zone of concept albums about the Metroid series and instead developed a concept of my own. The album tells the story of Feste in 2029, who undergoes cosmetic surgery to win the heart of his love, Mila, but when she is apathetic towards his change in appearance and presence, Feste decides to travel back in time to win the heart of his love in the past. Little does he know that as a side effect of the surgery, his body is quickly decaying.
I took a class on music in the Western world, and many classical and romantic composers wrote what would now be considered concept albums, and I took inspiration from that. The story unfolds as the album goes on. I play most of the instruments on the album, the orchestration is done by my buddy who is also helping in the writing process and does most of the synth stuff, I do some of it too.

Very cool. Your a Steven Stevens replicant meets Vinnie Vincent replicant while in a dark alley being chased by a Blade Runner. Great work Jack.

It's like the combination is an Atomic Animal Runner...yeah, Atomic Playboys mixed with Animal and Blade Runner. That should be the theme for the next album.

Thank you all so much for the support! What you've heard is Act I and the very beginning of Act II. There's three acts, four songs each, for a total of twelve songs, and the whole album will be released on April 6th via iTunes and I'll also be distributing a limited run of CD's, and when I say CD I mean that you're probably gonna get a jewel case with a CD in there that has "Perception is Reality" written on it in Sharpie.
