Building this one for a mate of mine, so it be NY Groove Flasher #2, almost ready for paint.
Mock up of the parts fitting etc.
Body has been thickened 10mm due to the routing the front face.
Charging access hole for the internal battery.

No need to get inside to charge the battery, can be done easily with this jack point i built.

Thanks Vic, im going all out on my mates Ace Flasher, getting all this fiddly stuff drilled etc and im going to rub it back and hit it with a few more coats of silver ( couple of bits im not happy with ), yeah im a bit picky but my mate Arn has worked for me with bands for years so i want it to be awesome for him.

Did you change necks on the 1st one? I thought that you trimmed the headstock down into the shape of a Gibson Flying V to match Ace's Flasher?

So he has done 3 of these guitars now and has moved on to Small Stanley's Explorer?

Yep the the UFO has the pointed V like headstock, the flashers stayed stock.
And correct ive done 2 flashers, 1 UFO and now im on the Explorer in Tiger motif grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Ive had ideas of a hybrid flasher with the signature Ace 3 pickups and the light show that ALSO does the smoke !!! i dont think its ever been done so maybe this year i will create the muther of all Ace guitars !!!

I think its quite doable, got a few projects on the go at the moment so its on the cards this year, 3 pickup smoking flasher Les Paul...... geeez thats a mouthful !
