Well Jimmy Page was his hero growing up! Rather apt I think.
Although, Stevie always said he can't play a Les Paul!

I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.

Paul is a stickler for only playing Ibanez in public. I doubt it but Steve's Les Paul could be an Ibanez knock off. It's good to see Steve play an easily digestible song again. He was starting to get too pompous for my tastes.

Re: NAMM 2012
It would've been better if they hadn't played such a shitty fucking song. Jesus Christ, am I the only person in the entire world that doesn't like Led Zeppelin? All of my life, I've heard these shitty songs played on KISW, the Seattle rock station, and then everyone is like "Hey, you gotta like Led Zeppelin" and then these shitty songs would come on and I'd be like "Dad, what's this band that they always play all the time?" and he'd say "It's Led Zeppelin" I fucking hate Zeppelin! I refuse to like their music, it has nothing to do with my Clapton quandary where I won't listen to Clapton because a civilian (non-musician) told me that I had to like Clapton because I'm a guitar player, no, I just can't fucking stand Robert Plants voice, Page's god awful tone, Bonham's trash can drums, I hate it!
That being said, I respect them for the influences they have had on many bands that I actually do like.
Love,
LJH

I admire them and they did write some great tunes but I don't listen to them.

Has it been a year since the VVMG was displayed at NAMM? Boy has the time flown!
PS. I love Zeppelin!

I think leppelin are over rated. I don't think page is all that. The best musician was the drummer, I think other bands took their sound and did better things with it. That said they did have something you can not deny.
Bye Bye
