Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!
I never looked to see if they are the same house , but I have always thought so. The trees and bushes are in the same spot .The slope of the land is the same,etc...

Similar, but there are differences. The Benson house has rooms/windows in the attic/third floor, has a balcony above the front door and rounded windows on the first floor.
What would be cool would be a 2 TV shows that take place in the same mansion: 1 from the perspective of the rich people and 1 from the perspective of the help. I'll start writing it now. As Vinnie would say, I'll try to have it out next month.

How about a Dance Off.

I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing. I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.
Creatures was a great album. The 2 new guys were playing great and had great make-up designs. The band sounded HUGE and was finally getting a cohesive sound after the unraveling of the original band.
It must have been a great time to be a die-hard KISS fan. (I had unfortunately jumped ship after my hero Peter Criss left the band, so I was unaware of how awesome CotN and LIU were until I saw the Heaven' On Fire video and started looking back.) Not a great time for the band tho...truly doing their best while watching the ship sink.

Yes Erg, Heaven's On Fire and the Animalize album also reignited my brother and mine's love for KISS again. Although we hadn't really jumped ship, we had veered off into Culture Club, Hall n Oates, REO Speedwagon, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran etc. territory for a couple of years. But once we hit 13, the hormones kicked in and it was back to KISS and heavy metal from there on in! Going back and discovering Creatures, LIU and the rest of the KISS Katalog around 1985 was some of the coolest times I can remember.
I have always listened to all different kinds of music and still do. I love all those groups you listed...country, blues, show-tunes, classical, comedy. It was all good.
I stopped listening to KISS out of some kind of adolescent loyalty to Peter. He was the reason I started playing drums. I just couldn't imagine who this jerk replacing Peter could be and how the other guys in the band could do that to him!
I never bought LIU until after the first VVI album came out. A good friend of mine forced me to listen to this guy named Vinnie Vincent. I hadn't gone back further than Animalize. After one car ride listening to VVI, I was at the record store buying it. The next weekend I was back at the record store buying LIU trying to figure out who the hell this Vinnie Vincent was and why the hell he didn't stay in KISS!
Small town. No internet. I had to buy/read every metal magazine with KISS on it to piece together the story. I bought dozens and dozens. I had to know who this guy was. I never really found out much until 20 years later and I found the VVFF!!!

Kiss will never release any pics or shows with vv bevause vv will take them to court. Vv will loose but most likely they don't want to bother and certainly not promote vv.

Believe me when I say this...gene and paul have a ton of this shit piled in their vaults...each of them could be on an episode of 'Hoarders'.....
It's just a great feeling to see this stuff and be catapulted back in time by it...I really hope more pics like these come forward...
This section of time in the History of Kiss is what I would call 'The Golden Age of Kiss'...the moments prior to their phoenix event of unmasking.
cotn and i still love you have amazing solos. VV's stuff also great but I think those two solos top the album but VV does great with them live.. I also like the solo on Exciter as well even though I dont understand why the opening tune on lick it up album (an album introducing VV to the world) was not Vinnie playing the solo. I would love to know why they didn't use VV.
