Went to see the Tony Levin stick trio........

Sunday afternoon i went to see the Tony Levin stick trio playng in a small teathre in my city.It was him, pat mastellotto and Markus Reuter on the touch guitar.For one hour and half,in spite of the dogy mix, beautiful-sometimes complex- music was played by those three great musicians, who played songs from the cd's, two cover of KC and one song off the Frpp "exposure" solo album.The hightlights were-apart from one of their songs sung in italian- two songs that flowed in beautiful improvisations- and the closing rearragement of Stravinskji 's piece form the "Birds of Fire" suite.
""Levin did also said"since it is late, we will not do the routine""leavin and waiting to come up for the encore"",we'll play the encore now,and then come up for the aurtographs and pics".Then they launched in the two final songs.

The concert was wonderful.

After ten mintues, they did come out for the free meet and greet.He signed every thing without any fuss,very friendly and a total pro,great attitude.After gettin an item singed, i went away since it was late and i had to catch public transportation(that area is not very safe and also, i try not to use the car unless it is very necessary.It is good for me, for the enviroment,and for the streets ,too many cars and motorcycles and scooters around)

The ticket was 15 euro( you could have paid 10 euro for sitting in the aisles).
