I was just listening to a metalshop radio show that had an interview with Vinnie Vincent.
They were talking about the second new lp and ending the glam look, and Vinnie claimes in order
to move on with the future he destroyed the pink guitar.... Is this true ???
Re-painted silver & purple with a front p/u added. Used as ASG tour back up guitar to the Carvin, then used on the EP cover.
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!
Dowse the guitar with lighter fluid,
light it on fire,
put out the flames with urine,
use it to demolish a stack of amplifiers
and then throw it out a window...
While doing so,
practice angry lip curl.
Live life as though it is the third law; "to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." Rules apply whether we are cognizant of them or oblivious.
he also claimed to have ran over it with the tour bus. none of which are true. it was repainted i believe. mark slaughter confirmed to me that he only had a few guitars. like only 2 or 3 vvv's. one pink and one white.

Whoopty Fuckin' Doo.
I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing. I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.
that 'making of' boys are gonna rock video that vic put on youtube is very entertaining. The director is very funny.
i don't think he smashes many guitars in that
Hondo "Rhoads" or some other cheapie no doubt were used in the clip. Not Jacksons.

The video guitars had the Rhaoads style scratch plates on them though.

Some do not believe the hard rock one to be really the kiss one. If it is the whole thing is not in originsl color and trem not original and one pick up missing. An expert in Sweden where he was selling it said it was not the kiss one but who knows for sure

No, we're talking about the pink and silver double vee Vinnie used in The VVI, not the 3 or 4 Rhoads he used while in KISS!

The fretboard doesn't lie. The markings in the fretboard tell the story. That's one of them. Vinnie just gutted it for parts.
