Anyone played an ESP M1 lynch?

Post by n3p »

Annoyingly missed out on a Kamikaze today which I had been eyeing up, so I am on the lookout for something a bit special. I secured a new work contract so I feel like treating myself :)

There is an ESP M1 2012 yellow tiger I have my eye on, it's in NY though so would have to buy blind. These kinds of guitars rarely show up over here, so if I really disliked it I am confident of getting my money back (maybe a little profit!)

Here is a link to a pic. Can't embed easily on this ipad:

Anyway... Convince me or talk me out of it :D

I won't be Mr Scary and give you The Kiss of Death! Unchain the Night and bring that Wicked Sensation home as it looks Heavan Sent!

Seriously, why not? No doubt it'll be a beauty!

kiss of death is my favourite tune. That tune where Lynch was driving around in a ferrari was my least faourite dokken song.
guitar looks good. I am a Lynch fan.

If you read about the differences between the ESP'S and LTD's, you would get the cheaper LTD because it is basically the same guitar.

The Hunter! I love that song! Great solo! Maybe because it was the first Dokken song I heard is the reason I love it?

Read that too, can't find any LTD ones anywhere... Maybe they were limited edition?

Cheers, it does look tempting, and I might sound a bit snobbish but if I were to get that I'd always pine for the ESP version! It is local though, so well worth trying out.

I also have my eye on this (hope nobody here buys it now!):

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2010-BC-Rich- ... 33803d30d6

It's a recent USA BC Rich Gunslinger which was "built by Grover Jackson", with certificate of authenticity. The price isn't what I'd expect from a master luthier built guitar, so I'm wondering if it just means he pushed the button to fire up the CNC! Anybody know about these guitars? the colour is cool.

Love that gunslinger neck. I had a bolt on and neck thru in around 1990. Love those guitars.
