Slaughter
Slaughter
Hey I wonder If slaughter was playing any of the Vinnie Vinncent songs live and is there maybe any audio ? I know that they hated Vinnie but damn they were in a band together. Vinnie played KISS songs after he left so maybe this also could happened
Re: Slaughter
No. The closest thing was mark playing the gold rr v reissue and burnin bridges a song about vv.
I know are friend brainsaw would disagree but on the stick it to ya tour a
I would say only 1% knew vvi and no one knew their tunes. Also slaughter had a very commercial audience who would have not known a great deal about heavy metal history. Even you regular kiss fan wouldnt have known a whole lot about vvi back then.. it waa the info world we have today.
That said mark introduced burnin bridges by saying "you all know who this song is about " even though it was clear very few did even at a kiss show.

Re: Slaughter
I BELIEVE that sLAUGHTER played Lick It Up at some of their shows throughout the years.
I saw them in 1995 when their entire set seemed to be mostly cover tunes . I remember them playing Rocky Mountain Way by Joe Walsh.
That should tell you something about how proud they were of their own songwriting.
