Nice one Dr J. :)

Undergrad. :) They kicked me out of community college when I got an AA.  I'll have two AAs after finishing microeconomics and managerial accounting.

I didn't literally get kicked out for breaking any rules. I got kicked out of college like someone gets kicked out of the library, when the librarian says, "I'm turning out the lights. We're closing." My academic advisor said, "we can't do anything for you here. You've graduated." I was an INTP in a candy store  English classes, math classes...a physics class...I don't need an AA in General Studies...I need to control my nerdiness.

I could've returned to community college for another semester. I would've only be going half-time to finish a second degree. It's more logical to attend a university, finish the credits there, and work toward a BA. It's silly not to move forward. That was my advisor's point.

Would a university accept a bad student? Doubtful. I know nothing about it. It seems logical. Think of how many people apply to universities. They don't want problem students. I submitted my academic records to them, and they know it's a good academic record. That's the reason I was accepted. I graduated with honors. I was never suspended or placed on probation. I slacked off for a year, I could've been in college. I wasn't in a good state of mind. That's the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Urr I dont know. I have taught in universities and never seen a student kicked out. Pretty harsh if you ask me.

It wasn't harsh. I only had two classes to go, and BOGW doesn't cover half-time students. I estimated the cost around $1,900. I could've sought out scholarships that cover half-time students. I applied for financial aid this year, and the only problem is admission fees, etc.. The time to apply for scholarships is now.

I don't know if someone's not being as harsh, as I think. It's the avoidant personality disorder.

I applied for the Masters course in Counseling Psychology at the University where I got my undergrad. They misplaced the paperwork and so I have to wait til spring which means I will have to start paying the loans in November! Thankfully Obama added the option of ICBR (Income Based Repayment) so I can still go.

I just hope they dont "misplace" my phone number when they start doing interviews for the spring cohort.

Oh man, sorry to hear. They misplaced your paperwork? Wow. Good luck on your masters in psychology. That's great. :D :D Doin' well.
